Meet Mary Kidnew: A Leader Who Listens & Acts
Mary is a passionate community advocate. A multi-hyphenate volunteer who has called Mississauga-Lakeshore home for over 40 years. She is running to be your Member of Parliament so that she can fight for a peaceful, secure, affordable, and just future for all Canadians—balancing the needs of people while caring for the environment.

In Her Own Words
“I want to work and serve our beautiful community in a larger capacity where I know that I can affect real change. I want to be able to support all the groups, organizations, businesses and people of our community while finding ways to steward the land by protecting the land, air, water, and wildlife.
At this moment, we are facing a threat to our freedom, democracy, economy, and our planet. Our House of Commons needs MPs who bring fresh perspectives and can put the needs of their communities and country before the needs of their parties. I want to be that voice for a community and country that I love and call home.”Mary Kidnew

Green Party of Canada: Our Values
Green Parties around the world share six common values and our policies are based on these fundamental principles.
We believe in ending poverty, protecting nature and using resources responsibly, to meet everyone’s needs.
We strive for peace and security through cooperation, human rights, and wellbeing, rather than military force.
We stand for fairness, sharing resources, and recognizing the deep connection between people and the planet.
We value and protect diversity in all its forms—embracing differences among people, cultures and the natural world.
We understand that people are part of nature, value Indigenous knowledge, and commit to caring for the natural world.
We believe everyone should have a say in decisions that affect their lives, with power shared fairly and decisions made locally.
